The Tourist Information Centre is located in the sports/swimming center, and is open daily during the summer from 07:00-22:00 and on weekends between 10:00-19:00. There you can go online on the internet.

- Glacier Tours
Snowmobiles or snow cats are used (snow cats have bench space for 20
passengers, in addition to being open, so riders can enjoy the views along the way). In many cases, both snowmobiles and snow cats are used for larger groups. The company has 16 snowmobiles plus 2 snow cats making it possible to take as many as 70 at a time on the glacier.
- Ski Trips
Snjofell has helped set up a 450-metre ski lift beneath the "Triangle" on the south slopes of Snaefellsjokull. This ski area is located in an area free of crevasses at the base of the glacier, making it possible to keep open for ski enthusiasts 10 month a year.
